Top 5 Music and Podcasts Apps on Android in Belarus Q2 2022

The second quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top 5 music and podcasts applications on the Android platform in Belarus. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads. Starting at 7.5K at the end of March, downloads peaked at 10.4K in mid-April before declining to 7.3K by the end of June. Meanwhile, weekly active users showed a consistent upward trend, growing from approximately 230K to 262K over the quarter.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts had a relatively stable download pattern, beginning at 5.2K and ending at 4.2K. Active users displayed a slight growth, starting at 178K and peaking at 201K in mid-June before settling at 190K by the end of the quarter.

Zvuk: HiFi music, podcasts saw significant changes, especially in mid-June with a notable spike in downloads to 12.5K, compared to just 704 in mid-May. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing from 8.5K to 21K in the same period before dropping to 14.5K by the end of June.

Yandex Music, Books & Podcasts showed a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Downloads rose from 2.8K at the end of March to 6K by mid-June, while active users increased from approximately 399K to 411K throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Zaycev.Net: music for everyone maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 2.9K and ending at 2.3K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 51K mark.
